This was funny. During the Christmas event, they turned on snow, and of course some pledges were duking it out. Nyx was online yelling at everyone to start killing bosses and quit killing each other. Arechamedes agreed.

This was a very nice drop. Think pledge mate traded for some knight sword. Maybe KV.

Here are a few test event drops. Hope the rates are better (both spawn and drop).

Course Bowgun isn't worth as much on test, especially since Sayha bow drops this event.

Mes called me twice for DE at top drake, one dropped 0 and the other dropped g-mana. Would have been real nice to split DE sandal money with Mes. Thanks for the calls.

Funny conversation with Monitors

In the past 2-3 months, I have been 'invited' to 4-5 conversations with monitors who are basically doing bot checks. In the nearly 8 years prior, I've had about 2 unsolicited conversations with monitors and one was a bot check. Go figure.

This is the most recent one from this month. They said they'd pray for a nice scroll drop. That was nice of them. =)

Yah, it's been a while since I posted anything so I am gonna post some screenshots I've taken recently.

My DE hit 50 during the EXP event. Would love to get another so she can level to 51 and add to stats. It was a 12hp/4mp level up. That was nice bump up. :D

Last night I finally ended the last mop for DE's 50 Quest. Bought a bdai cheap from GTZ and made this:

YAY!!! Over 7 years of hunting and one restarted elf at level 49 42%, I have finally reached 52. Not overly bad, 8hp, 3mp level up. I added to Dex. Figured more firepower would be nice.

Thanks to all my friends who have hunted with me in the past: Listerine, Mercyless, Allisun, Comah, Mayuka, BriarRose, Dudebane, Marissa, Thebigguy, Doyorworst, Sunnyd, Heartbreaker, former pledgemates from Protoss II, RedDawn and Heart and Soul, and oh so many others....so many I can't name here, but you're not forgotten. Thanks to the encouragement and general hunting advice from people like Fieldsoflove, Magnetik, and others.

Got rid of the +8bg

Some dude wanted to trade me a 9ori for my 8bg. Would of traded it, but the dude never would get online. I ended up trading it for a 7k-xbow and 25m. I then sold the 7k-xbow for 94.5m, so 119.5m for a 26m 7bg and a handful of bdai. Not too shabby.

Now I think I am looking for a 9ori dagger. Would love to buy one for 100m. Hopefully I can find one. Other than that, not sure what to save for.

I bought a +7bg for 26m yesterday in gtz. Thought it was a great steal for that price. Tried for two days to trade both my existing and the new 7bg and 35m for a +8bg. Nobody was interested. So after my 6 week quest for an +8bg, I bought 3 bdais, drank a cold Guinness and put on the 2 7bg and 1 7rap. Needless to say, the rap died, but the bowguns went +8. Both of them!!! Nobody selling for 100m or less, so I will take my time to sell the second +8bg. Need to decide what I need to buy. Maybe a 51f charm for my mage and a 31f charm for my elf.

This was a 'fun' drop from Dark Elder prior to the Halloween event.
Finally, I got an nzel from crocodile. Been killing him quite a bit lately.

Been very busy working. We're gearing up for an implementation for our UK sister agency in London. On my time off, I have been searching the world of Aden over for a +8bg. No sellers have been found as of yet.

Thebigguy has a +9bg, but he won't take 105m for it. :P

While hunting in RV a while back, a friend stopped my at storage to show me something. Seems that this bot had been operating there (imagine such a thing), but it was hunting the area while chao.

The bot went afk at the storage dwarf. So my buddy decided to have some fun. I pulled a large group of mops to town repeatedly killing the bot, and yes the bot lost some of its toys.

It lost 1 fire ring, 1 ALA, 1 +7 kedo, 1 +7 d-boots, 1 +7ts before the owner finally decided to get online. He even had the nerve to demand his stuff back, of course my buddy was disinclined to acquiesce. The bot huffed and puffed and logged.

Anyway, thought this was cool

OK. After much nashing of teeth and prodding/encouragement from Allison, Scorpself, Dudebane, Sunnyd, Rakes, TheBigguy, Mangy, Mercyless, Marrisa and many many others, I finally broke down and went super-level mode this past weekend. I was at about 88% as of Thursday and by Sunday, I hit level 51. That was with a death by stunning from a wild pack of skelts/gouls/swords on 34f Saturday night just as I was closing in on 95%.

After much consultation and deliberation.....

I added to DEX. I am really hoping this was a good move. When I created Samtook, the second time, I added that leftover point to STR. I am still water, and have no plans at the moment to switch to Wind.

I got this drop just tonight. Took about three weeks to get my first, and hopefully not my last.

I then sold it within about an hour and a half for 34m. Didn't think it would sell so fast when getting PC's of 30m.

This was a cool enchant for my con elf. Marrisa suggested as having a con elf to make one. 1/3 went +8 using nzels. Not bad for +2 Con stat.

Best drop in game so far for me.

This is by far the absolute best drop I have ever gotten, solo or in party. This was a solo drop, and man it surprised me. I thought it was a typo. Originally thought it was a dark elf sandal that dropped.
